Today I stopped by a friend's house to drop off a meal. She and her husband just welcomed home a new baby boy. I held him for a few minutes and couldn't believe how tiny he was. It was amazing to think that Elliott was that small just five months ago. The rate of change in the first year of life is somewhat incomprehensible.
Elliott is sitting up for a few minutes by himself before he topples over. He seems to be enjoying eating. We are now on his third food - avocado. I'm not certain what we'll go to next. One book I'm using - Super Baby Food - suggests banana. But some experts recommend going through the vegetables before fruits. I have two days to figure it out.
